A farmhouse for the owner of Gokhale Constructions; an escape from the city life!
Meant to be a personal retreat as well as a space to entertain family and friends dictated how this layout evolved. A large space that acted as a living and dining areas, with an open kitchen forms one wing of this house. This space flows out on to a large sit-out that overlooks the swimming pool. The other wing houses 3 bedrooms each with their own individual sit-outs. The physical segregation of these public and private wings is further emphasised by a reversal in their orientation. A glass walled passage with courtyards on either sides forms a transparent link between these two masses.
